Touch the lives of young ladies. Volunteer with us! 

Volunteers 

Help our young ladies prepare for college, careers, and life. You can: chaperone, be a speaker, do a workshop, be an overnight chaperone, nurse or social worker, join the planning committee, raise funds, or mentor a young lady.



We have many events you can volunteer for. If you are interested in volunteering for any of the following events, please fill out our volunteer interest form and let us know what you want to be a part of! â€‹

  • Cultural Experience, Fall

  • Dress for Success, Spring

  • Leadership Conference, 3rd Weekend in May

  • Financial Literacy Workshop, Summer

If you are interested specifically in volunteering for our annual conference, we have many different ways you can get involved. Please fill out our conference volunteer form and indicate how you would like to take part in our annual conference. If you choose to be an overnight volunteer, please also fill out the background check form.

Annual Conference Committee (critical to the success of the event)

 

  • Serve as a member of the planning team from now until mid-May, and be prepared to work on the 11th Annual Leadership Conference.

  • Bi-weekly meetings beginning January 2024

  • Must attend at least one day of the Leadership Conference (preferably the Friday of the Conference)

Annual Leadership Conference Volunteers

  • Conference Days: May 17-19, 2024

  • Duties for Group Leaders (10 needed):

    • A requirement of the full 2-night 3-day attendance (late Friday evening to early Sunday morning)

    • Light clean-up

    • Dealing one-on-one with our young ladies (group of 8-10 girls)

    • Implementing program activities, and small discussions following sessions

  • Duties for General Volunteers (12-15 needed):

    • Shift times and days vary (min. of 4 hours)

    • Set up/clean-up

    • College prep panel speakers

    • General help

​Friday -  (FSU Southgate Dorm)​

- Chaperon overnight and serve as a group leader for 10 girls the entire Conference - 4 PM(Fri) - 5 PM(Sat)​​​​​​​​​

- Set-up, sessions and all-around assistance - 10 AM - 3 PM ​​​​​​​​​

- Decorations and Set-up - Main banquet rooms and sessions, 1 PM - 3 PM ​​​​​​​​​

​​​Saturday - (FSU Southgate Dorm) ​​​​

- Session Organizing, 7 AM - 4 PM​

- Clean-up, 5 - 7 PM
